Helpful Expert Reply:

The Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Forged Tow Eye, part # TR63045, has a gross trailer weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. This represents the weight of the loaded trailer. With the Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Forged Tow Eye you can pull a trailer that weighs 10,000 pounds.

However you will want to consult your vehicle owner's manual to determine the capacity of your truck. If the truck is rated lower than 10,000 pounds you will want to abide by its weight capacity.

Tongue weight is typically 10% to 15% of the weight of the trailer. I have included a FAQ article about measuring tongue weight for you.
