The Reese # RP30054 hitch you mentioned is intended to be bolted directly to the frame of a cab and chassis truck, so it wouldn't be a good choice for your Ram 3500 with the OEM tow prep kit.

Curt and B&W both offer hitches that will drop right into the existing factory pucks in your truck bed. The Curt # C16545-16021 has a 24,000 lb capacity, while the B&W # BWRVK3600 offers a 25,000 lb capacity. Either hitch would be an excellent choice for you, but I'd give the B&W product a slight edge. The locking and unlocking mechanism of the B&W hitch just operates more smoothly and has a better quality feel in my opinion. The Curt hitch has the advantage of being less expensive, so you'll need to decide if a slightly smoother operation and a slight increase in capacity is worth the extra expense.
