Replacement Water Heater Element on a RV

on the screw in elements in what position are the arrows suppose to be in ? Thanks

I contacted our representative at Camco and she stated the arrows on top of the screw-in-element won't have really any meaning at all. She did recommend the arrows be more horizontal than vertical though. See picture to the right.
The Camco RV Replacement Water Heater Element # CAM02143 is a fit for a range of water heater brands. The gasket is included. This water heater element replacement has 1500 watts and 120 volts.
Just in case you don't have one, the wrench for the screw-in water heater element recommended is # CAM09883.
