Compatibility of a Pollak Heavy-Duty 7 Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Connector with Blade Connector
Question:
Can you provide the wiring diagram for this plug? I plan to plug it into a Hopkins p/n HM40975 and plan to use both the 7 and 4 pin connections

The Pollak 7-pole round pin part # PK11700 is not compatible with Pollak 7 and 4-pole connector # HM40975 because it has blade style pins. What I recommend is you change your trailer connector to a 7-Way blade connector part # A7WCB.
You will also need a wiring harness like # PK11998 to install the 7/4-Way connector. It plugs into the back of the 4/7-Way. The connector mates with RV-style socket to form a weather tight seal.
-Red - Left Turn and Stop - 14 gauge
-White - Ground - 10 gauge
-Blue - Electric Brakes - 12 gauge
-Green - Right Turn and Stop - 14 gauge
-Black - Battery - 12 gauge
-Brown - Running Lamps - 14 gauge
-Yellow - Backup Lamps - 14 gauge
