Hitch and Trailer Recommendation for a 2011 Chevy HHR
Question:
if I put trailer hitch on my 2011hhr if my car can handle a 500lbs handy cap scooter?

The only way you could transport a 500 handicap scooter with your 2011 Chevy HHR would be for you to install a hitch like part # 24756 and then use a small trailer.
A cargo carrier setup wouldn't work because your vehicle wouldn't have the tongue weight rating to suspend the weight of your 500 lb wheel chair off the ground unsupported.
To complete your towing setup you would also want a ball mount, the # 118407 for trailer wiring, # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball, and # 19258 for a 2 inch hitch ball.
