Where Should Tire Chains be Installed on All Wheel Drive Vehicles Like a 2014 Ford Fusion

Question:

Cars with All Wheel Drive, what is the best location to install the chains on for possible black ice and snow. The steer axle or the drive axle, or should i order two sets for both.

For all wheel drive vehicles chains should be used on the drive wheels. Consult the owners manual or with Ford to determine which set of wheels are the main drive wheels. But if you wanted to you can use them on all 4 wheels. It looks like there are several possible tire sizes for your 2014 Ford Fusion.
