Using Brake Controller Harness # 3016 in 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with Factory 7-Way Trailer Socket
Question:
If I have part number 3016 can I just plug this in my 2014 Silverado. I already have the wiring setup on the bumper and my truck does have the convinience box behind the brake pedal. Are most controllers plug and play with part number 3016. Thanks

The brake controller quick-connect harness you referenced, Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3016, is a correct fit for your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. This harness can be used to connect any of a range of Tekonsha and Draw-Tite brake controllers including the popular and reliable Prodigy P2 # 90885 to the under-dash port on your truck.
The high-value P2 offers a great mix of features, ease of use and rock-solid reliability. I have linked a video showing installation in a 2013 Silverado.
