Installation Hardware, Ball Mount Kit, and Wiring for 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander OEM Trailer Hitch
Question:
I recently picked up an OEM Mitsubshi class 3 hitch, Manufacturer Part Number: MZ314710, for my 2015 Outlander GT. However the hitch did not come with fasteners or mounting hardware as part of the purchase. I was wondering if you had any fastener/hardware set that was similar to this that I could purchase for my install. The hardware I need BOM attached: 4 M12 Bolts 8 M12 Conical Washers 6 M8 Bolts 6 M8 Conical Washers 4 M12 Nuts Convoluted Tubing Ball mount kit If you dont have anything like this can you recommend the class of bolts typically used on a Class 3 hitch assy. like this? thank you in advance for your time.

It looks like the OEM hitch for your 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander installs differently than the aftermarket hitches, see link to the right. Because of this we will not have a match for all of the parts needed. The hardware should be grade 5 or better. You should be able to get the hardware you need from a Mitsubishi dealer in the parts department.
I am also not sure what the convoluted tubing is. But a ball mount I can help with. If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included to the right that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you can use # 118482.
