Installing a Trailer Brake Controller on a 2009 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a primus IQ 90160, the harness plug on it only has 4 wires. on the video it has 5 wires,Will this still work?

The video you are referring to, linked to the right for reference, does indeed show a wire bundle with 5 wires. This is normal on a 2009 Chevy Silverado. Brake controllers only use 4 wires. On the truck you will not use the orange wire on to install the brake controller.
The brake controller white will go to the truck white wire for ground
Brake controller black to truck red for 12 volt power into the controller
Brake controller red to truck light blue for input from the brake switch
Brake controller blue to truck dark blue for output to the trailer brakes
