Today we're gonna take a look at the half inch 1/2"-13 zinc lock nut with the nylon insert. Now this lock nut is designed to be used on the half inch diameter U-bolts that'll fit two inch wide square axles. If you notice, this nut has the included nylon insert in it, the locket, and it does have a nice zinc finish to help resist rust and corrosion. Again the size on this is a half inch diameter by 13 threads per inch. But that should do it for the review on the 1/2"-13 zinc lock nut with the nylon insert.

Nylon lock-nuts are great because they eliminate the need for a lock washer. useful when the bolt is a little short.

I ordered several items for my boat trailer to replace the springs and renew the related hardware. There was a little glitch, as the springs were sold out in inventory. The etrailer staff quickly advised me of this issue and offered alternatives. However, my order was shipped was shipped within a few days and arrived as ordered. I will definitely use etrailer again.

they only sent 13 when I originally ordered 16. Of course, they didn't charge me for 16 but nothing has been said about where the other three are. My theory is that they are under stocked but are selling the product anyway and backordering the remainder.

- U-Bolt Recommendation for 2 inch Square AxlesIs your square axle a 2 inch square axle? I believe it most likely is and you would want the # UBZC12X212X525 for a replacement u-bolt as this is 5-1/4 inches long and fits a 2 inch square axle. For nuts you would want the # 12ZLN and then for a bottom plate # 117594-G.
view full answer... - Zinc Platted U-Bolt or Square 2” Wide x 3 Tall Trailer AxlesI looked up your order and the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e27SR you have is about 1-1/2" thick. Since you axle is 3" tall you would need a u-bolt that is at least 4-1/2" tall. Therefore, I recommend taking a look at the Replacement U-Bolt part # UBZC12X212X525 which is 5-1/4" long x 2-1/8" wide. This u-bolt is zinc plated and for the correct lock-nut you will want to use part # 12ZLN.

I went ahead and checked out the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-149 system, for your 2011 Forest River Georgetown Motorhome, and discovered that this system use both a 5/8" locknut # 6-38, and a 1/2"-13 locknut # 12ZLN. If you have just the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148, then you'll just need the 1/2"-1 locknut # 12ZLN.
