Curt trailer hitch # C15845 is designed to fit 2006 Ford F-350, 450, and 550 cab and chassis models that have a frame width of 34 inches measured from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other.
According to my Curt representative, the drop of the # C15845 hitch is right at 6 inches between the top of the receiver tube and the bottom of the truck frame. This hitch would be an excellent option for you and is what I recommend.
If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK25318. It comes with a ball mount with a 1-1/4 inch rise or 3 inch drop, a 2-5/16 inch ball, and a storage bag. And for trailer wiring, if needed, you can use # 18252.
