Will Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator Work for 4 Breaking Wheels on Tandem Axle Trailer
Question:
Is this master cylinder sized for two drum breaks or four? I have a tandem axel trailer with four wheels that break, and I want to make sure this will work for four breaks. I know some trailers only have two breaking wheels even with a tandem axel.

I spoke with my contact at Demco and he said the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator # DM72VR will work for four breaking wheels on your tandem axle trailer.
Please not that because this actuator does not include a reverse lockout, it is recommended that you equip your trailer with free-backing brakes so that you can drive in reverse without the actuator triggering your trailer's brakes.
I have included a video review of this surge-type actuator for you to check out.
