Depth Dimension Of Derale 32 Inch Dual Tornado Electric Fan
Question:
Is this a misprint or are the Derale 32inch Dual Tornado Electric Fan Assembly - 2,700 CFM fans truly 1-3/4inch deep???? What is the overall depth INCLUDING the mounting frame? I need to put fans like this in a VERY tight space which is why I am asking. It seems like an awful lot of money just for a pair of fans but I may have to bite the bullet on this one. Thank you in advance.

The attached drawing of the Derale 32 inch Dual Tornado Electric Fan Assembly, part # D16834 has the mounting brackets attached.
With the brackets attached, the overall depth is 1-3/4 inches. This is intended for tight areas as you said you have. The hardware is not included that you would need to mount the fan to the vehicle.
I also recommend the Derale 40/60-Amp Dual Relay Wiring Harness for Dual Fan Assembly, part # D16765, since the fan does draw more than 10 amps. This will help protect the vehicle electrical system.
You may want to check out the Derale Lighted On/Off Switch for Electric Fans, part # D16740. This lets you control the fan with a lighted toggle switch.
