Rail and Hardware Kit Recommendation for a 1989 Chevy C/K 3/4 Ton 4X4 2500 with Brackets

Question:

I recently bought a 1989 Chevy C/K 3/4 Ton 4X4 2500, and a used RBW Lil Rocker with rails. The truck came with mounting brackets still bolted to the frame, as well as holes drilled through the bed. I have no hardware to mount the rails. What I need to know is: Can you help me find the hardware, and is this a 4 bolt, or 10 bolt installation? If its a 10 bolt, where do the other 6 bolts go? Thanks for the help! :

Most likely it's a 10 bolt design that is on your 1989 Chevy C/K 3/4 Ton 4X4 2500.

Generally speaking we do not recommend mixing bracket and rail manufacturers. The best solution for you would be to determine what bracket kit you have in the bed of your and then buy the correct rails/hardware kit.

10 bolt kit will have 4 bolts on the ends of each rail and than an additional bolt in the center. So there will be 5 bolts per rail. See the picture I attached for more information. If possible I would recommend you contact the previous owner of the truck to see what rail kit he had installed in the truck.

To see if the 10 bolt universal rail kit that includes install hardware # RP58058 would fit check out the dimensional drawing I attached and compare it to what you have in the bed of your truck.
