Trailer Recommendation to Carry a Motorcycle with a 2010 Honda Element LX
Question:
I have a 2010 Honda Element LX with a Reese Towpower Class III hitch with 2inch box opening. The vehicle has a 1500 lb. towing capacity. Could I use this motorcycle rack to carry a 300 lb. dual sport bike with this vehicle.

Expert Reply:
Since your vehicle has such a low towing capacity you only really have one option for carrying a motorcycle with your 2010 Honda Element. You will have to go with a small trailer since your vehicle would not have the tongue weight capacity for a motorcycle and carrier.
For trailer wiring you are going to want the Tow Ready harness part # 118465.
For a ball mount you could use the part # D-4, Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3, and then for a 2 inch ball part # 63845.
