Installing Tekonsha Primus # TK90160 Brake Controller on 2014 Chevy Suburban
Question:
Hi, Can you tell me which wiring harness I need for a Tekonsha Primus IQ controller going into a 2014 Chevy Suburban? Will the #3016 fit? Thank you

The 2014 Suburban doesn't use a plug like the 2014 Silverado 1500 does, it will wire directly into the tow package wiring like the 2008-2013 GM trucks did. If you look at the FAQ article I've linked you to, you can see the Primus would wire up to the tow package wiring located under the dash. I've also linked you to an install video showing a controller being installed on a 2008 GMC Yukon. Although the vehicle is different, the install procedure would be just about identical.
The wiring harness shown in the video is included with the Primus controller, but the wire loom is sold separately by the foot as part # 459075-1.
