If i buy this lock, and replace the pin with the Replacement Threaded Pin for Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock will I be able to lock on my Thule bike rack?

I spoke to my contact at Thule and when it comes to a lock that will work with the Replacement Threaded Pin for Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device, # 853-5917, it is most economical to purchase the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device, # THSTL2, than to purchase the Lock Housing, # 753-3725-02 and Lock Cylinder, # TH450200, separately.
The Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for SportRack Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers , # SR0901, is designed to be used with the threaded bolt that is included and will not work with part # 853-5917.
