The Class V B&W trailer hitch # BWHDRH25217 would be a great option for your 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500. This hitch is rated for 16,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 1,600 pounds tongue weight. But the hitch would be limited to the towing capacity of the truck so you will want to check your owners manual for its capacity. I have included a link to a video showing installation of this hitch for you.
If you also want to replace the factory 7-Way you can install # HM40975 which will provide both a 4-Way and 7-Way connector. And if you need to replace the harness that plugs into the back of it use # PK11998.
