I have two questions: #1- is the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack the right solution for two bikes #2- are there any parts I must order that dont come in the box

The YakimaFullBack 2 Bike Rack, # Y02634, is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Ford Escape. The FullBack is designed to hold 2 bikes.
The FullBack comes with all the parts you will need to transport 2 bikes. However, if you are carrying women's or children's bikes you will want to use bike adapter bar # Y02531, which is sold separately.
You may also be interested in a steel-reinforced security strap like # Y02623, which is also sold separately. This strap povides an economical security option for your trunk-mounted bike carrier and attaches easily to your bike rack with an integrated loop.
