Parts Recommendation to Install a 7-way on a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
I have a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe with no factory wiring. All the harnesses I find on your website are for a 4 wire socket installation. My camping trailer has a 7 wire plug. What do I need to install the Curt Venture controller with a 7 wire socket? Thanks,

On your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe you will need to start with a 4-way, this will get converted to a 7-way.
For that you would want the # 118415. I attached an install video for you to check out.
Now if your camping trailer doesn't have trailer brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 and you would be good to go. You would plug the 4-way of the # 118415 into the 4-way of the # 37185.
Now if your trailer has brakes you would instead need the part # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed to install the 7-way and install a brake controller. I attached installation instructions and an install video for you to check out.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. However, the Curt Venturer # C74VV is a great controller as well.
