Can a Modulite Trailer Wiring Harness be Installed Under the Hood of a Vehicle

Can this circuit protector be installed under the hood next to the module?

Technically, you could install the Heavy Duty Modulite # C59496 anywhere that it will fit, including under the hood. But since it is meant to wire into the vehicle tail light wiring for trailer lights the easiest place to install it would be the rear of the vehicle. Otherwise you are running all of the tail light wires and 4-Way to the back of the vehicle which would require a lot of extra wire.
