Trailer Wiring Harness Blows Power Fuse when Starting 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan
Question:
I have installed the Curt C56331 on my Dodge Grand Caravan 2012. All is good and installed according to manufacture specs. It works great when I am testing it. As soon as I turn the engine on, it blows out the fuse.

You might need to check the power wire connection on wiring harness # C56331. Make sure it is connected to the positive battery terminal and not to any other power source such as the alternator. Also check the ground connection for the converter box. It needs to be attached to a clean bare metal surface; no paint either. And I also recommend grounding the converter by itself and not to share ground locations with other electrical components.
