Timbren Suspension Enhancement for Slide-In Camper Carried by 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Question:

Hi, I am looking at adding a Slide in Camper to my 2500 and have a couple questions. First when I went to Timbren.com they show that their recommendation for slide in camper is the GMRTT35S with a rating of only 8000lbs and your TGMRTT35S has a rating of 12000lbs. Timbren recommends the GMRTT35S for slide in campers and I believe I read one of the questions on your sight that you do not recommend the TGMRTT35S at 12000lbs but recommending the TGRCK25S rated at 6000lbs. This is why I am confused. I understand the 12000lbs might be too much but what about the 8000lbs? Why is your TGMRTT35S rated so much higher than the one on Timbren web site? The slide in camper I am putting on the truck will bring it to its max GVWR. I have purchased from you on several occasions and trust your experts and their advice so please shead light on this for me. One more question does the Timbern kit have everything needed to mount up including spacer? Thanks

According to my Timbren representative, the capacity of the # TGMRTT35S springs is 8,000 lbs, instead of the 12,000 lb figure we had listed in error. I would recommend the 8K capacity # TGMRTT35S for use with your slide-in camper. According to Timbren's installation instructions, the 8K springs are meant to replace the entire bump stop assembly on the truck, as shown in the installation instructions I've linked to.

The # TGMRTT35S includes the necessary hardware and spacers for installation.
