Will The Same Trailer Hitch Fit 2013 Toyota Highlander And Hybrid Model
Question:
Do you carry a trailer hitch for the 2013 Toyota Highlander HYBRID? If so how much is it? Is it the same hitch as for the regular Highlander or does the Hybrid model need a slightly different hitch? Thank you so much for your help with this matter.

We do offer a hitch that will work for your 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver, part # 75726. This is a Class lll Hitch and has a 2 inch receiver opening. This hitch is designed to fit a standard highlander as well as the Hybrid model.
I have attached an installation video for this hitch on a Highlander you can check out.
If you are planning on towing with your Highlander, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount kit, part # 989900. This comes with 2 balls, 2 ball mounts, the pin and clip and a handy storage bag. I have attached a product review video for this kit.
If you want to let me know what you intend to use the hitch for I would be happy to make some recommendations that will work for you.
If you plan on towing with your Highlander, and you do not have wiring in place, we can take care of that need as well. If you have the factory towing package on your Highlander, I recommend the Curt Custom Fit Wiring, part # 56042. You just locate the connector in the rear cargo area and you will have a 4-way needed for towing.
If you do not have the factory tow package, I recommend part # C56217. The powered converter connects beneath the dash, and the tow harness connects in the rear cargo area. I have included a link to an installation video for this harness you can check out.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
