Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24884 mounts to your 2012 Hyundai Accent GLS in three places. One bolt on each side and another in the center that attaches to the tie down hook that is already present on the vehicle. I have included a link to the installation instructions to the right for you to view.
If you will be using this hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier, make sure that the accessory is compatible with a Class I hitch. For a bike rack you will also be limited to carrying 2 bikes maximum. I will be happy to make some suggestions if needed.
If you plan on doing some towing first consult the vehicle owners manual for towing capacities. The correct ball mount to use is # 3592. For a 1-7./8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 118559 (for a sedan). If it is a hatchback use # 119178KIT.
