How to Find the Stoplight Circuit on a 2013 GMC Terrain for Brake Controller Installation

WHERE CAN I PICK UP OWER SOURCE FROM BRAKE SWITCH

Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on the wire in the # 11 terminal on the black BCM connector, as shown in the diagram I provided. The wire colors can vary during a production run, which is why we typically recommend that folks wire by function, not by wire color.
As an alternate method, you can use a fuse tap like part # F2526 on the CHMSL (center high mounted stop lamp) fuse in the fuse box. The lid of the fuse box should have a legend that will tell you which fuse location is needed.
