What is the Mounting Hole Pattern for Dexter 6K Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies
Question:
I was getting ready to order brake kits and drums for my trailer, 6000k Dexter axles. Checking seal dia. And mounting bolt spacing against info on your site I noted that two different specs are given for mounting flange bolt spacing. Ques.7 states 2.25 inch between the 4 bolts and 3inch between the bottom two while Ques.18 states 2.0inch between the 4 bolts and 3inch between the bottom two. My axles show 2.0inch and 3.0inch respectively. I assume that this is the spec for these axles and the 2.25 inch is a mistake, just like to know before ordering Thanks

The mounting holes are actually closer to 2-1/8 inches for the closest ones and 3 inches for the bottom 2 holes on brake assembly # 23-105 and # 23-106. I have included a picture showing the measurements.
It is very close and you could call it 2 inches but the brakes fit a standard 5-bolt mounting flange such as # 4-44-1.
