Troubleshooting Trailer Brakes that Lock Up all the Time

what is location of factory installed controller for 2008 ford 450,and can I repair it myself. Is there any reset procedure? electric trailer brakes has power at all times

If you aren't sure where the factory brake controller is on your 2008 Ford F450 you may not even have one. It should be just to the right of the steering wheel on the dashboard.
Your trailer brakes being locked up all the time could be due to a short on the trailer wiring circuit. What it sounds like is happening is the 12 volt accessory circuit of your wiring harness is shorted out to the brake output circuit. I would inspect the inside and outside of both the connector on your truck and trailer looking for corrosion or cut or exposed wires behind the connectors and fix as necessary.
