Roller Bunk Recommendation For Boat Trailer Used In Saltwater
Question:
I need bunk rollers for a saltwater trailer. Which rollers do you recommend

Expert Reply:
If you are looking to replace the bunks on your trailer with roller bunks, we have a few that may work for you.
For a 5 foot bunk I recommend the CE Smith Roller Bunks, part # CE27710. These are constructed of 12 gauge galvanized steel and are rust and corrosion resistant. Since you said you are needing them for salt water, we recommend rinsing them with fresh water to prolong the life of the rollers.
If you need a 4 foot version of these rollers I recommend part # CE27700.
To mount these rollers to the frame of your trailer I recommend using CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks, part # CE10003G-4. These are made of 11-gauge galvanized steel and are suitable for saltwater. These do come with a quantity of 4 brackets in the package.
