Fit of Westin Perfect Match Series Rear Step Bumper # 31012 on 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab

You have a Westin OEM rear bumper that looks identical to the one on my 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT quad cab pickup, but I understand it will only fit base models- why is that? black step pads, grey plastic s- sure looks the same!

My contact at Westin confirmed that their Perfect Match Series Rear Step Bumper # 31012 is indeed a confirmed fit for your 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab. This bumper bolts on using included hardware without any need for drilling and it offers 300-lb tongue weight and 3000-lb towing capacities.
You need only to add a hitch ball with a 3/4-inch diameter shank, such as TowReady # 19258.
