Why Would a Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118558 Have Constant Power on the Running Light Circuit
Question:
Just completed installation and with test light I get 12volts at the brown wire on car tail lights even though all lights are of and ignition is off. Have not hooked to trailer yet. Thanks,

I spoke with my contact at Tow Ready and he couldn't come up with any reason that the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118558 would see constant voltage on the running light circuit unless the harness itself was bad. I checked our system and couldn't find your name or email so I would recommend you contact who you bought the harness from or Tow Ready directly to get a replacement.
