What Circuit Should the Center Post of the Battery Isolation Solenoid be Run To

I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500. What wire should I use for the middle post, any suggestions? Thanks

The center post of the Battery Isolation Solenoid # PK5231201 needs to be run to a 12 volt signal that is only hot when the key is on.

Any accessory that turns on only when the key is on like the radio or ignition would work well for this. On my car I was able to tap into the power wire for the traction control switch. You will basically want to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and test for voltage on the wires till you find one with voltage only with the key on.
