Base Plate Recommendation for 2006 Jeep Wrangler with Hansen After Market Front Bumper and Winch

I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox and as long as you have an after market steel bumper, the Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit, # BX88230, will work for you. The custom fit frame mounted base plates are designed to only work with the factory bumpers.
In order to mount the brackets you will have to drill into your bumper. I recommend contacting Hansen to make sure that this will not void the warranty on your bumper. These mounting brackets should be attached metal to metal on a flat steel surface and the bumper and bracket may need to be reinforced.
