I have a 2014 dodge caravan that I would like to put a brake control on. Where do I hook up the trigger wire for the brake control?

You will need to test the wires on the brake switch above the brake pedal to locate the correct wire to attach to the brake controller red wire. The red wire is the one that tells the brake controller you are stepping on the brake pedal.
You will need a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 if you don't already have one. You need the brake switch wire that shows power only when the brake pedal is pressed. If you find a wire but it also has power with the headlights on or turn signals on, then it is not the correct wire.
I have included a couple of links to the right that should also help.
To install a brake controller on your 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan you will first need to install a 4-Way trailer connector (unless the van already has one) using # C56331. Then you will need to install # ETBC7.
If you need a brake controller recommendation I would go with the P2, # 90885. It is our most popular controller because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
