Are Tail Light Connectors Only Available By Themselves for Trailer Wiring on a 2013 Ford Escape
Question:
Hello Etrailer, I wanted to know if I can buy the t connectors that plug into the rear tail lights without buying the full wiring harness if so, what would the price be? I made a mistake and bought it from Ford which requires splices the original wires. Thank you.

The connectors from any trailer wiring harness are not available by themselves. You could buy the harness and cut them off but if you were to buy it you might as well install that one and return the hardwire harness to the dealer.
Or I could help you install the hardwire harness. It is actually pretty easy. You just need a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to test the vehicle tail light wiring. On the driver side you will need to find the left turn signal wire and the running light wire. Then identify those wires on your trailer wiring harness.
On the right side find the right turn signal wire and do the same. For the brake light wire, if the wire is very long and the converter mounts on the driver side, route it over to right side. If it is short, then find the brake light wire on the driver's side.
