How to Pick Out a TrailAir Pin Box Replacement for a Hitch Hiker Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
I would like to replace my pin box with a trailair hitch. I would have sent you the pin box number on the trailer, however the trailer is in Modesto Ca and I live in Alaska. I will be bringing the trailer back home next month and would like to have this hitch for some grueling parts of the road. Could you please tell me if there is a place I could get it installed and how would be the best way to purchase it? Thank you,

To install a Trail-Air like the part # LC155943 on a trailer is not an overly difficult task. Virtually any shop could do it as it basically only requires removing the old pin box and then raising the new one in place and bolting it in place.
The best way to purchase the correct one would be to find out what pin box you have on your current trailer by any means necessary. Check out the link I attached that has all of the Trail Airs we offer, and then select the one that is designed to replace your pin box. The facets on the left of the screen will help you narrow down the products. Select your pin box brand and then number the correct pin box will be listed.
