Where does the Connector of the Curt T-Connector Harness # C56225 Install on a 2014 Nissan Frontier

Question:

2014 Nissan FrontierI located the 12-pin plug but when you view the plug with the 5 pins and connector space on the left and the 7 pins on the right, there is a red wire on the left and a green wire on the right both in second from the bottom pin sockets on both sides that appears to be factory installed. Whats up with that? Unable to connect the harness with these wires coming out. Thank you.

If the connector you found on your 2014 Nissan Frontier has a red and a green wire coming out of it it sounds like you haven't found the correct connector yet. The correct one can be a little hard to find but it won't have any wires coming out of the front of it.

Check out the video I attached that shows the Curt T-connector Harness part # C56225 being installed in a similar Frontier as yours.
