Trailer Hitch that Will Not Interfere with Spare Tire for a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4
Question:
Need to know if this will work for my 1990 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4. Im concerned about space becasue it has a full spare tire mount as well. Please advise.

Numerous customers with Ford Rangers have found that Curt trailer hitch # 13019 does fit without having to remove the spare tire or with tire interference.
More customers actually commented on this for hitch # 13138 with several of the reviews stating that that the hitch fits with the spare without any problems. Based on the customer information I would go with # 13138 for your 1990 Ford Ranger. I have linked a video showing installation for you.
I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And for trailer wiring use # C55314.
