For you to connect your Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, part # 90195 to your 2012 Dodge Durango, you will need to use a Universal Installation Kit, part # ETBC7.
This kit will attach to the 4-way connector at the rear of your Durango and give you a 4-way along with a 7-way connector. You will need to do some additional wiring to get the brake controller connected.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the connections and helps prevent corrosion.
