Will Curt Hitch Part C12232 Fit a 1999 Mercury Sable
Question:
my sable has a duretech engine and factory dual exhaust and I was wondering if that creates a problem, as I think the only differnce between my car and a SHO i the engine.

Installing this hitch should not be a problem on your 1999 Mercury Sable, even with a factory dual exhaust. You will need to temporarily detach an exhaust hanger while installing the hitch. The hanger will be put back at the end of the install. I have included a link to the instructions so you can review them.
