Parts Needed to Convert a 4-Way to a 7-Way
Question:
I now have a 4 way which is wired tied to my U-haul hitch. Can I just cut that off and use those wires to connect to this? Thanks for any help.

I have a better solution for you than that. If your trailer does not have trailer brakes all you would need is an Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole # 37185. You would just plug your 4-way into the 4-way of the adapter and you would have a functioning 7-way. You would want to tape the rest of the wires up and out of the way.
If your trailer has brakes you would instead need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
