Long Ball Mount Recommendation with a 1-1/4 inch Ball Hole
Question:
I have a motor home that I just started towing a 20 foot enclosed cargo trailer. I bumped the trailer backing in the driveway. Trailer wt. 3300#, truck 4000#, hitch is rated 10,000#, I would like a little longer ball receiver! with an 1 1/4 hole. . What do you have, the ball receiver I have now is not very long. I will measure what I have and can send picture, the hitch is not sticking out very far is part of the problem.

Without knowing exactly what you have it's hard to say for certain how much longer of a ball mount you would need. But the Draw-Tite Ball Mount # 4285 measures 12 inches from the center of the pin hole to the center of the ball hole (which is 1-1/4 inches in diameter).
This ball mount is also rated for up to 12,000 lbs GTW and up to 1,200 lbs TW.
