How to Install Hopkins Hardwire Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan

There are no vehicle specific instructions for wiring harness # HM48895 because it is a universal hardwire type of harness that fits many vehicles. Basically, you will use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to test the vehicle tail light wiring. Once you know what the wires do on the vehicle you can splice them into the harness.
On this harness, the white wire is ground and attaches to a clean bare metal surface. Brown is for running lights, yellow is left turn signal, red is brake lights. And on the passenger side of the vehicle, you only need to find the right turn signal wire and attach the harness green wire to it.
But if it were me, I would use a harness that just plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring, # 118552. I have linked a video showing how it installs.
