Troubleshooting Intermittent Running Light Output From the Tow Ready Harness part # 118468
Question:
I have had this trailer wiring kit for about 2 years now, and have issues with the parking lights intermittent on and off. I tested the connection on both sides of the contol unit and the output on the brown wire is sometimes not there. My connections at the back of the tail lights are seeted in all the way and seem to have good connections. Any suggestions? Or maybe this is a common issue and the control unit black box is bad and the whole wiring harness needs to be replaced? Thank you,

If the the intermittent output of the running light circuit of the box of the part # 118468 is occurring while the input side of the circuit is staying constant then that would indicate that the box is bad and needs to be replaced.
