Question:
Itm #75772. 2014 Kia Sorento SXL V6. Which wiring harness do I need to make the trailer lights work with this hitch and my car?

Expert Reply:
If your 2014 Kia Sorento SX V6 has the factory tow package you can use custom-fit plug in wiring harness # C56332 from Curt. This harness installs without having to cut or splice wires on your new Sorento. Since your hitch includes a mounting point for the 4-pole trailer connector you might want to add on the mounting bracket # 18144.
If you do not have the factory tow package you'll instead use the hard-wire harness # C56256 from Curt. This wiring kit will require you to do a bit of splicing but all required parts are included.
I have linked installation videos for both harnesses as well as their written instructions.
