Can a Curt hitch for a 2008 Honda CRV be reused on a 2014 Model
Question:
Hello, I have a Curt hitch for my 2008 Honda CRV I believe it is a Curt 13555. I would like to know if it can be reused on a 2014 Honda CRV if not as is, is there adapter hardware to fit the old hitch onto the new car? Thanks.

Your Curt Class III hitch, part # 13555 is a fit for 2007-2011 CR-V models only, and would unfortunately not fit your 2014 CR-V.
Because the hitches are custom designed for a given vehicle, using a hitch on a vehicle it wasn't engineered for is not recommended because the weight capacity would be unknown. There isn't any hardware that would allow the hitch to be used on your new CR-V.
For your 2014 CR-V, I'd recommend the reasonably-priced Curt Class III hitch, part # C13119. If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'd also need the following:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118561
Ball mount, part # 2753
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 63845
Locking hitch pin, part # e98882
