Will an RBW Lil Rocker 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Long Bed
Question:
i work at uhaul and i have a customer that wants to have his little rocker fifth wheel hitch on his 2001 club cab dodge 2500 8ft box pickup that came out of his chevy, he says it is a bandw however i looked online i was thinking it is an rbw? can you help me find the part number i need for the frame brackets that mount under the bed?

You are correct. The Lil Rocker was made by RBW. RBW was bought out by Hayes/ALKO and is no longer made. However, it is our understanding that the Lil Rocker will fit in industry standard above the bed rails. Take a look at the picture I have included that shows the measurements.
The mounting feet on the Lil Rocker will have to be spaced 10, 20-1/2, or 29 inches apart, side to side on center and 22 inches apart front to back to fit.
For the truck there are options for installation kits. For a universal kit that would require significant drilling into the frame to install you could use # RP30035. For a custom kit use # HT31404-686. Custom kits require much less drilling and are thus easier to install and take less time.
