Should there be Vertical Movement with Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Hitch on 2015 Ford F-250

Question:

I have a 2015 f250 with the factory prep when I installed the hitch it had some verticle movement so I took the pin out and turned the pin one half turn when I reinstalled it still has same verticle movement. Do I need to turn the pin some more or is a littler verticle movement ok

I spoke with my contact at Reese about the M5 Series hitch # RP30921 and your 2015 Ford F-250. He said there can be some vertical movement but the hitch should be tight to the truck bed and the pucks. You are on the right track by adjusting the pins. Just follow the instructions, linked for reference, on adjusting the pins until you get the hitch a little tighter to the truck.
