Troubleshooting Right Trailer Tail Light Not Functioning
Question:
rewired the trailer, everything works except the right tail light. brake lights work both side, turn signals work both side, flashers work both sides, tail light works only on left side.

There should be two wire run to the right tail light. One that powers the brighter illumination for the stop/turn/flasher circuit and a wire that powers the dimmer illumination; the running lights.
You will want to trace the running light circuit from the trailer connector back to the tail light assembly looking for any obvious signs of a short like cut or exposed wire and fix as necessary. You could also use a circuit tester to test for voltage on the circuit like our part # PTW2993.
