I have attached a help article and an installation video that shows how to install your Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller, # TK90160, on your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado for you to check out. You may notice that the truck in the video is a 2011 model, but the installation will be the same on your 2013 model.
To install the brake controller, you will need to find the factory brake control harness under the dash. They will be tied together with white tape to the left of the brake pedal. I have listed the color connections between the OEM harness and the Primus IQ harness below.
OEM Red to Primus Black
OEM Dark Blue to Primus Blue
OEM Light Blue to Primus Red
OEM White to Primus White
If you make all of the wiring connections and the brake controller does not have power, you may need to make a few more connections under the hood. GM did not complete the brake controller and tow package wiring on all models of the Silverado. The help article that I attached covers the additional connections that need to be made to finalize the installation.
